"Hombre Sencillo"
Starring Bonnie 'Prince' Billy

Synopsis
A muddy twist of fate leads the Hombre Sencillo towards “El Camino Real,” an historic and royal road of haunted frightened memories. The past, it seems, is always close behind. His every step is uncertain and each movement forward, persistently, fuels his heavy and shadow filled burden. An ominous greeting to a small mission town, in the form of cold and wet weather, leads to the seeking of desperate and natural shelter. Dark is the night for Hombre. Then suddenly, a new path is revealed to him in a waking dream. The sun is beginning to shine and the king’s highway undeniably becomes enlightened for his simple yet triumphant and joyful steps to redemption and rebirth.
